Every year 4th December is celebrated as Indian Navy day.  Naval force is a wing of Indian army protecting the marine borders of Indian peninsula.  The day celebrates its achievements presenting its role in the national security and also involving in difficult situations during floods within the nation.



Navy day is celebrated to commemorate the courageous attack on Karachi harbour during Indo-Pak war in 1971 and also in reverence of all the martyrs of that war. Indian navy works towards ‘safe Seas and Secure Coasts for a Strong Nation’.

In the first week of December 2018 I was in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.  I had the opportunity to watch the rehearsal Naval show on 3rd December.  Here are few pictures that I could capture from my allotted seat.
