Last weekend of June ’17 I had taken Duck tour in Boston. It was a wonderful tour on the land and water showing the important land marks in Boston and also having the view of beautiful cityscape seen from Charles river.
The Duck tour was started in Boston for the first time on 5th October 1994. There are three starting points at present, New England Aquarium, Prudential Centre and Museum of Science. I started at Museum of Science. The vehicles are replica of DUKW vehicles used in World War II. They are amphibious and can travel on land and water. The tour was founded by Andrew Wilson with four ducks and now there is a fleet of 28. The tour is for an hour and twenty minutes. An hour on land and twenty minutes on water – Charles River.
I posted photos of Freedom trail in a previous blog of the same name; here I am posting pictures of Boston cityscape/skyline as seen while on Charles River.
